12 WEEKS-LONG WORKSHOPS:

1. Mindfulness Practice: 20 mins.

We will investigate bodily presence and self-awareness, as well as stress-reduction techniques, through different meditation practices.

2. Theoretical Ideas: 20 mins. (adapted for adults or adolescents)

Our workshops embrace transdisciplinarity. They are inspired in the principles of mindfulness, quantum physics, neuroscience and narrative psychology, which we translate into creative experience. We further explore these ideas through C.G. Jung´s notion of syncronicity and several mystical traditions.

Our program includes weekly videos and readings, that will be commented during this class period.

3. Sharing the texts: 40 mins.

One of the requisites of our workshops is that you will be open to reading the text that you´ve written throughout the week. Sharing your doubts and emotions is an important part of the course: your process helps other students understand their own, so we expect you to consider talking about your experience.

4. Writing Practice: 40 mins.

The last section is devoted to writing in class.

WEEKEND INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS (12 hrs.)

1. Mindfulness Practice

Both workshop days start off with a meditation period, and we will also be taking 20 mins. breaks in between the writing exercises to investigate bodily presence and self-awareness, as well as stress-reduction and mindfulness techniques.

We send a series of brief readings and videos to our students two or three  weeks before the workshop takes place, in order to be able to discuss these ideas in the classroom.
